Lively Dragon strongly urges you to help make a difference.  This gift from us is for people directly impacted and in need. Indirectly but of equal value this support makes an enormous difference for their care givers at home. Any of you who have cared for an ailing parent, child or sibling knows and understands the enormity of this caring on an ongoing basis.

Skip a dinner out and give a little. Together we can do great things, Each of you are members of a team. Challenge your team to make a difference. Have your team challenge and inspire other teams to step up to the challenge. It is people like us who make a difference today and in the future.

DONATE:  MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The Willow Foundation raises funds for non-profit long-term care homes and adult day programs operated by Halton Region. Halton Region’s three long-term care homes are

Allendale Village in Milton , Creek Way Village in Burlington and Post Inn Village in Oakville .  Seniors and adults with disabilities living in the homes receive 24 hour nursing and medical care as well as social, recreational and therapeutic programs.  Halton Region cares for 572 people in the three homes.

Halton Region’s adult day programs provide social and therapeutic recreation programs to seniors and adults with disabilities who live in the community.  The programs are designed to assist people who need a little extra help with daily activities.  Programs run from Monday to Friday.  Halton Region operates

Silver Creek Place in Georgetown and Milton Place and Friends Landing in Milton .  (Friends Landing provides specialized support for people who have Alzheimer’s or dementia). Service is provided to approximately 100 people through the adult day programs.

The Willow Foundation has many dedicated volunteers who work hard to raise funds to support programs and purchase new equipment for our three Regional long-term care homes and our adult day programs. In addition to fundraising events organized by the Willow Foundation, a number of the social events such annual Strawberry Socials and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies are made possible by the commitment and hard work of the Willow Foundation.

The efforts and contributions of The Willow Foundation truly help enrich the lives of the residents at Allendale,

Creek Way Village and Post Inn Village and those in our adult day programs.

Raising funds assists the many programs that the homes and adult day programs provide, improving the health and wellness of the 572 people who reside in the homes as well as the more than 65 clients who attend the day programs. Many of the residents and clients are dealing with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia's as well as medical concerns. The Villages of Halton prides itself on providing a safe and comforting place for residents to call home.
