Guelph Lake Nature Center

For more than 30 years, the current Guelph Lake Nature Centre has been a source of environmental inspiration and leadership to more than 600,000 students from the Wellington Catholic District School Board, Upper Grand District School Board, and beyond.

The original Guelph Lake Nature Centre has reached the end of its useable lifespan. Program demand, accessibility needs and the overall condition of the facility have caused the Grand River Conservation Authority to look to the future in designing a new complex that will accommodate many future generations of environmental leaders.

The new Guelph Lake Nature Centre facility, planned within Guelph Lake Park, will greatly enhance the current programming being offered at the existing facility. In outdoor education, the building is secondary to the learning landscape that surrounds it. The new Guelph Lake Nature Centre Complex will be no different with innovative, purpose-built outdoor spaces designed for students and park visitors alike.

If you would like more information about the new complex or are interested in making a donation, please contact Cam Linwood, GRCF Development Coordinator at 519-621-2763 x2251 or by email.
